Cranberry Waldorf Salad
2 cup Pear or apple; chopped
1/2 cup Seedless grapes; halved
1 Stalk celery; sliced
1/3 cup Almonds; slivered *OR* can Broken & toasted
1/4 cup Pitted whole dates or Raisins; snipped Leaf lettuce
1/3 cup Whole cranberry sauce
2 Tbsp Mayonnaise or salad Dressing
2 Tbsp Sour cream
2 Tbsp Milk
1 tsp Lemon juice
1/8 tsp Celery seed
Combine the pear or apple, grapes, celery, almonds or pecans and dates
or raisins in a medium mixing bowl. Divide the fruit mixture among four
lettuce-lined salad plates For the dressing: combine the cranberry sauce,
mayonnaise or salad dressing, sour cream, milk, lemon juice and celery
seed in a small mixing bowl. Drizzle the dressing over the fruit mixture.
Makes about 4 to 6 servings.
